I am seeking your advice to build a website for Annai Jothi Seva home - A welfare and Rehabilitation Centre for the mentally challenged kids. For more details on the home, Please visit the link:
The Home is in need of a website to propagate the noble cause it is working for, so that like-minded people will join hands and help them out. When they communicated their requirement, a firm called Sathya Technologies got in touch with them and had given them the estimate for developing the website. The overall estimate comes around Rs.13,000/-.
Personally I feel that the home has to encounter huge expenses if they outsource their website development to a private firm. Instead we can look for some alternative resources, so that the huge sum can be spent to meet the day-to-day expenses of the kids which they are already struggling for. I can think of the below options as of now.
· College students interested in web designing projects can take it up and do it as a mini-project if they are willing to. Annai home is a registered organization and we can ask them to provide a certificate to the students.
· Any volunteer/firm proficient in web designing can do it at free-of-cost or at a concession rate and contribute their part as a service to the needy kids.
